Jeffrey Russell

With over 15 years of experience in foodservice and hospitality, Jeffrey Russell brings a passion for innovation and growth to his role as Food Service Director for Crosby’s Convenience Stores. Since joining the company in 2021, he has led a dynamic transformation of its foodservice program—driving both operational excellence and significant sales growth.

Jeffrey Russell began his career with Delaware North in 2009 with the Cleveland Guardians and quickly rose through the ranks. His career took him to premier venues across the country, including Oriole Park at Camden Yards and Great American Ball Park, before returning to Buffalo to serve in leadership roles at KeyBank Center and the Buffalo Waterfront.

At Crosby’s, Jeffrey Russell has spearheaded major initiatives, including rebranding the foodservice platform to Crosby’s Pizza and Subs, launching a private label grab-and-go program, and implementing systems like item-level inventory and a dough proofing process. His leadership has helped grow annual pizza slice sales from 2.8 million to 4.1 million, expand the foodservice budget from $22 million to $34 million, and increase margins to 57%. Today, foodservice represents 31% of in-store sales, fueled by a high-impact LTO program introducing new offerings every quarter.

When he’s not driving results in the business, Jeffrey Russell enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, coaching his son’s travel basketball team, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills as a dedicated fan.
