Welcome to CStoreMomentum, an exclusive event tailored for young leaders in the dynamic world of convenience retail. This unique gathering is a transformative experience designed to propel emerging leaders to new heights of excellence. Immerse yourself in engaging sessions, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities that will not only expand your industry knowledge but also cultivate the skills needed to thrive in a fast-paced environment. CStoreMomentum is more than just an event; it’s a catalyst for personal and professional acceleration, where young leaders converge to shape the future of convenience retail.
The National Advisory Group (NAG) and the Young Executives Organization (YEO) are still active membership communities that work to produce networking events, community based learning, and other member benefits through out the year.
In 2024, we announced some rebranding that updates how we refer to our (2) annual events. The NAG Conference is now called CStoreConnections. The YEO Conference is now called CStoreMomentum.
Everything that you know and love about YEO is still here!
CStore Momentum, formerly known as the YEO Conference, is unique in that it is hosted by a NAG member retail chain. The event is purpose built to offer all attendees a wholistic deep dive into how the host retailer operates. By building the content around the host retailer, in their own back yard, attendees can leave with a strong example of success to reference as they work to move their own companies forward.
Additionally, all YEO programming, including CStore Momentum, offers attendees not only retail and operational insights, but also leadership development opportunities.
This event is a one-stop shop for those who will lead our industry for years to come.
The event will take place at Chestnut Market in Tarrytown, NY.
This program is built for individuals who are currently or will soon be rising the leadership ranks at their own company. Historically, we’ve said that attendees should be 40 years of age, or younger, but we are happy to include anyone who sees themselves as a “next-generation” leader within their organization.
Burning Issues is the term we use to describe the aspects of the industry that will impact operators around the country regardless of their size and location. Under the umbrella of each burning issue, the content team will create a plan to discuss the most timely or “burning” issues in a general session format. For example, burning issues we have focused on at recent events have included Technology, Culture, Policy, Foodservice, Fuel, and Labor.
An Info Exchange is an intimate round table discussion. NAG / YEO programming offers three different types of Info Exchange through out the year; Retail Leaders Exchange, Burning Issues Exchange, and Partners Exchange.
CStore Momentum will feature one Burning Issues Exchange session, which offers an intimate format for both retail and supplier attendees to self-select the group they will join by picking from a list of pre-determined discussion topics.
No. Speaker selection for this event is an intimate process between our content team and the board of directors for NAG Convenience. Speakers are selected from the convenience industry and volunteer their expertise. For this reason, speakers for hire/speaker bureaus are discouraged from contacting the content team.
